Meet Our Doctors
Prior to attending an orthodontic residency, I completed a general dentistry residency. I than practiced for five years as a general dentist; I feel very comfortable working with your family dentist especially on more complicated, adult multidisciplinary treatment plans.
I received a degree in Biochemistry from the University of Texas at Austin (Hook-em) and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (DDS) from UT Health Science Center San Antonio. I also completed a Masters of Science and Certificate in Orthodontics from the UTHSC- Houston.
I am a decorated veteran of the USAF, a Texas Merit Scholarship recipient, a National Institute of Health Research Fellow, and an honor graduate from UTHSCSA Dental School. I am one of the founding members and benefactors of the Magnolia Education Foundation. I enjoy a number of “hobbies” though my greatest joy is spending time with my wife of 24 years and my three wonderful, charming daughters.
I was born and raised in the countryside of Idaho Falls, Idaho. After graduating high school, I served as a missionary for two years in Chile. I loved every minute of this life changing experience. Upon returning, I received my Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University. I received my Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of California, Los Angeles. While at UCLA, I was honored with the OKU Kramer Award, the highest award given at each dental school. I then received a Masters of Science in Dentistry (MSD) and certificate in orthodontics from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.
I am currently serving as a Captain in the Army National Guard. I am truly honored to be serving our country in support of our troops.
Personal Life
Outside of the office, I enjoy many hobbies including sports, triathlons, and the outdoors. However, the thing I enjoy most is spending time with my wife (born and raised in Houston) and two beautiful daughters.
Meet Our Staff
I began working for Dr. Hanigan in 2010 and have been working in orthodontics since 1998. I love getting to know new people and helping them reach their goal of a beautiful smile! Dr. Hanigan is considerate to his staff and his patients and he makes it a fun environment with his sense of humor.
I love music, movies, but most of all books and am an avid reader!
I am very excited to say that I am part of the Hanigan team!!! I love coming to work and meeting new people everyday. I have been working with Dr. Hanigan since 2012 and looking forward to many more years. I am married to my high school sweet heart and have a beautiful daughter. In my spare time I love to spend time with my family, go out to eat and shop.
I began working with Dr. Hanigan in 2008 and I love seeing our patients smile when their braces come off. Working with Dr. Hanigan is great because he is respectful to our patients and our staff. He makes this a great place to work!
I love my pets! At home I have two Chihuahuas, Coco and Lola, and two blue Pit Bulls, Chuckee and Lola. I am also very excited as my husband and I are expecting our first child in August of 2012.
I began working in orthodontics over 25 years ago and joined Dr. Hanigan’s team in 2001. My favorite part of my job is interacting with patients. I work with our new patients as we set up their treatment plan. Seeing their awesome smiles at the end of their treatment makes my day! I like to work with Dr. Hanigan because I think he is a great orthodontist who really cares about his patients. He is one of the reasons why I look forward to coming to work each day. I recently started working part-time in our office, but still fill in when needed.
I am married with two grown children and one daughter-in-law. In my free time I enjoy decorating and spending time with my family.
My name is Alba and I joined Dr.Hanigan’s team in 2006. I enjoy interacting with our patients and seeing their smile transform. I make sure they get the most out of their orthodontic experience, making sure the financial aspect of treatment runs smoothly for both patients and parents. I am only a phone call away to answer any questions you might have.
I am married to the love of my life. I love spending time with family and friends.
Treatment Coordinator
I joined Dr. Hanigan’s team in 2014 after relocating back to Texas. I have worked in the dental industry for over 13 years. Orthodontics has quickly become my favorite area to work. I enjoy meeting our new patients and helping them get started with their journey to a beautiful smile. I am lucky to work with such a great team. I love coming to work every day.
I am blessed to be married to the love of my life and best friend Glen. I have two beautiful daughters Brenna and Alli. I love spending time with my family. I like to read, being outdoors and spending time with my family, our dog Sasha and two cats Sister and Callahan.
I became a part of Dr. Hanigan’s orthodontic family in August 2015, and I really love coming to work every day with such great people. It’s a real pleasure seeing the confident smiles that are created at our office from the first day a patient gets started to their last day of treatment. I look forward to seeing you at your next appointment.
I’m married to my best friend, Rob, and together we have three children and lots of pets. We enjoy spending time at church, being outdoors and just laughing and hanging out with friends and family.
